Heinemann Explore Key Stage 3 Screenshots


1. Heinemann Explore is available for both History and Science at the Key Stage 3 level.

It is an interactive teaching and learning resource containing hundreds of articles supported by images, video, quizzes and more.

Heinemann Explore History for Scotland is also available, aligned with the 5-14 National Guidelines.

2. Each subject contains curriculum-aligned areas of study, e.g. Britain 1066-1500 (History), Life Processes (Science).

Each subject is further divided into core topics such as "The Rise of Islam" in the Europe Before 1900 area of History.

3. Exploring articles contain all the core information about a curriculum topic.

Articles are supported by images with detailed captions, multimedia pages containing videos and interactive content, glossary entries, related extension articles and more, all accessed with a single mouse click.
